Principal's Welcome

Welcome to Prichard Preparatory School.  I am delighted to be the Principal of one of Mobile County’s premier elementary schools.  Our goal is to keep a low student-to-teacher ratio, offer music daily, a foreign language two days a week, and physical education daily with a professional physical education teacher. We remain focused on our mission to address the moral and spiritual character of our students with daily prayer, the National Anthem, bible study and scheduled chapel.  Our ultimate goal is for our students to be accepted into the area's private/magnet middle and high schools once they "graduate" from Prichard Prep.

I am grateful to be surrounded by faculty and staff members who are well trained and committed to the health, safety and welfare of each child.  Together with our PPS families and community members, we work tirelessly to provide a rigorous, and exciting learning environment. We constantly seek ways to expand the knowledge base of students through classroom instruction and with the support of technology.

Checking out our website is the best way for you to learn more about Prichard Prep.  Feel free to look around.  You will be introduced to our Board of Directors, Administration and Faculty. If you are considering becoming part of the PPS family, please don’t hesitate to call the school office (251-380-7220).  We look forward to meeting you.

Our Creed

"Education is my ticket to success. I have great expectations for myself. I accept the challenge to overcome all obstacles which stand in my way. Through the grace of God and the assistance of my teachers and parents, I WILL achieve my goals."

Our Mission

To educate students academically, spiritually, and culturally, and to develop their character in preparation for their pursuit of collegiate degrees.

Investment in Alabama's Future

Prichard Prep serves children in Mobile, Alabama and the surrounding area. Our goal is to give these bright children the opportunity to attend college and achieve high-level careers through providing them a top quality academic foundation. Prichard Prep's rigorous curriculum helps our students graduate and transfer into local college preparatory and magnet schools. As a faith-based school, we also prioritize the students' character and spiritual development.  Prichard Prep serves as an investment in this area's future economic development and quality of life through forming these children into Mobile's future leaders.
